Asked whether it is important to study journalism as a priest, Fr. Santino replied with a smile; “Of course, we need media to air the teachings of the church.” He argues that only after one had studied the ethics and techniques of journalism can one be convince of using it.

He hoped to return to South Sudan, in the Diocese of Torit, after his studies, to pass on the learning he had gained in ISC. He desires to curb the much spending of money on hiring people outside South Sudan to train the South Sudanese about Media and Journalism.
